Ema has worked for SSS for 26 years (which seems impossible since she's only 28!) and in more recent years has taken over from her Dad, Jeff, in running the school. Ema graduated with a degree in Dance from Northumbria University and has since taught dance and performance to people of all ages across the the North East. Ema specialises in dance for young children and has developed multiple classes and sessions for young children, including our very own Little Boppers classes.

Holly has work with SSS for over 8 years as our drama teacher on Saturdays and at our Wednesday BeYou Drama Club too! Before joining SSS, Holly studied an intensive diploma in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting before completing her Performing Arts Degree in Sunderland and making the North East her home!

Since the move to the Tyne and Wear Holly founded Atlas Theatre Company, an arts engagement company with the intention to open the world of creative arts to anyone who would like to give it a go. Now in its 8th year Atlas has performed a verity of shows in varying venues with a company of mixed experience.

Holly has written and toured her work across the UK from Tyne and Wear, Yorkshire, Somerset and London where audiences have included the likes of Sir Mark Rylance! Most recently Holly has been working with The National Theatre (Public Acts) researching the benefits of participatory theatre!

Holly also has a range of performances experiences herself, including Helena in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ with Oddity Theatre, Christy in ‘Makeshift Musical’ an original script by Mathew Graham (Life on Mars) as well as joining the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Evita’ for a leg of its International tour.
